Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Oklahoma was a shocker. Justine Kish lost to Felice Herrig after three rounds.
You think that’s the story? Not even close! Because Kish demonstrated her astounding persistence in trying to win the fight, apparently having taken too much effort. The cameras captured her leaving something brown in the arena.

But Kish totally owned it after such a failure, tweeting this:
I am a warrior, and I will never quit #ShitHappens haha be back soon.

So seriously, people, shit happens in the arena as in life. Nobody is really protected from pooping down in front of an audience, right? Never knows when shit is going to happen to you, really.
So don’t blame Justine Kish and wish this amazing woman and one of the strongest fighters in the world good luck in shitting over all her opponents! Figuratively speaking, of course.

Isaiah Pead’s NFL career lasted only for 5 years. When he had been preparing for it back in those days, he got himself a tattoo with the only word “Faith.” Inspiring, huh? And now it means even more for him.
Because now, Isaiah Pead, only 26, is a running back who can’t run anymore.
In a terrible car crash happened last November, he lost his left leg and had his right leg severely damaged. He pretty much stepped on the threshold of death, only moments away from crossing it. Doctors had to do 8 surgeries to save his life.
Before that, in his former life, Isaiah Pead had a lot to be proud of. He was a high school track star. At the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine he amazed viewers with his talent and ability and scored a second-round draft pick. But now former star is waiting for his prosthetic leg to be fit later this year.
Pity, you might say? Not at all! This strong man takes it real positive and isn’t going to give up on himself. He still works out, even having lost almost ¼ of his body weight. That’s how he puts it:
“I’ve got my muscles but I’m just light. I went from four percent body fat, and I’ve probably got none now. But I still work out. I stay on my push-ups – my bread-and-butter right there. With me being so light, it’s easy… It’s just irritating.”
Pead is really an optimistic person and a great example of faith in oneself no matter what. His girlfriend Ruby Bowman, who gave her beloved 7-month-old baby they affectionately call Deuce, is happy to tell us about the inner power of her man:
“He was still talking the same way he was the day before, smiling and laughing and cracking jokes. It surprised me a lot. I was nervous and scared for how he would adjust to no longer being able to have football. Everyone thought maybe he’s still in shock or doesn’t really know what happened and wouldn’t get it until living a normal life. But he’s still going strong.”
Let’s wish Isaiah Pead a good new chapter in his life that suddenly became so different and difficult.

She holds the Wisconsin record in the heptathlon (5,935 points)
She finished third in the heptathlon at the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships
She is 2014, 2015 Second Team All-American (outdoor heptathlon)
She finished seventh in the heptathlon at the 2014 World Junior Championships
She is 2015, 2016, 2017 First-Team All-American (indoor pentathlon)
She placed seventh in heptathlon at IAAF World Junior Championships
She finished 10th in the indoor pentathlon at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships
She is 2016 First-Team All-American (outdoor heptathlon)

Famous NBA player Carlos Boozer just got married to Anishkah in delightful Miami Beach this weekend. The wedding was perfect, the bride was splendid, there were a lot of people having fun.
But what really got us to share these amazing news is the wedding’s hashtag Carlos Boozer used in his Instagram: #BoozerWeddingHoldat2017. If you’ve been following Boozer for some time, you recognize the word “holdat” – it’s what NBA player has been yelling at play. It’s some kind of term he described here and he even had a “holdat” t-shirt specially designed for him.

That’s what Carlos Boozer says about the word:
“It’s kind of a little bit like a brag. Sometimes it can be a humblebrag. Sometimes it ain’t gonna be a humblebrag, but it’s just like a way … say somebody came up to you and is like, ‘Man, you got a nice jumpshot.’ So, ‘Holdat.’ ‘Thank you brother.’ Then somebody could come up to you on the street and be like ‘Nice kicks.’ ‘Yeah I got them at Niketown. Thanks, bro. Holdat.’”
To sum things up, Carlos Boozer said that he sometimes shouts “holdat” when doing his best shots.
